For the Good News
What if I told you that your employer wanted to promote you and give you a salary double to what you were currently making? What if I told you that you no longer had a mortgage or rental payment to make? And what if I told you that you now have perfect health and were no longer bound to any medication? All of this is great news, but it's not even close to the Good News in which I will now share.
Over the last year of my life, my joy has not come from money, job security, a relationship with a loved one, my health, or any accomplishment. Can you believe that the joy in my life is not even visible? The joy that I speak of is not even tangible. Meaning you cannot visibly see a source of where is comes from. Crazy right!? I want everyone to receive this.
It is by 'faith' in which we believe in things that we cannot see. Faith is usually what we choose to walk by/in when all else fails us. Well, what if you chose to live your life for someone whom you've never met in person, but believed in your heart that He is who His word says He is? That there is an indescribable Peace and Joy that floods your heart simply by falling in love with this man and His ways.
I am sharing this for those who are trying to grasp the idea that we were created for more than just a purpose of "self discovery", a call for successful living, a journey to offspring, to make money and then spend it where where we see the need to spend it. For anyone who is aimlessly living with struggles that are causing harm and hurt to not only yourself, but your family.... There is hope for you! You see, Jesus is looking for the humble, the brokenhearted, and the unrighteous.
Are you ready for a fresh start, a new beginning? The time is now. Take this time to ask Our Maker for forgiveness. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. A fresh start, a new beginning! The Gospel (Good News), is the way to an everlasting life. God promises us eternal salvation and redemption through His blood.
If you are reading this, now is your time. It's the best time! Start over; repent. Become a new creation in Christ!
